So in an attempt to put more than a little finger's worth of effort into Multimedia -- that subject -- I was doing what they call "investigatory" work and I came across Mia Timpano's web site.
For those of you who don't know who she is, she's a magazine writer, and is probably most notable for her work in Frankie. She's generally hillarious, because she is witty, frank (perhaps blunt is the more appropriate choice), sharp, absurd, and all the like.
But my gosh, her web site is not something we should seek to emulate. It's unorganised and unaesthetically pleasing, boring and unremarkable. I'm disappointed, Mia, and I don't even think your 10 Ways to Impress Your Love Interest will do anything to interest me.
I think I can call her by her first name now, given that she's lost all cred. She won't be knighted any time soon. And even if she is, I think Sir Mia sounds much better than Sir Mia Timpano. It's a good name for a cat. Note that well.
